Sara’s practice is built on a passion for legal analysis and her global experience. She has a diverse litigation practice that includes complex commercial litigation, white collar litigation, and international arbitration.

Sara’s work has focused on the media, telecommunications, and technology sectors. She has represented a major media company and its designee directors to another media company’s board in a class action shareholder litigation regarding alleged breaches of fiduciary duty in Delaware Chancery, a media company as a third party to a litigation in Delaware Chancery related to an acquisition of a technology company, a large payment-processing corporation in a New York state litigation regarding alleged breaches of contract, and an individual employee of a major financial institution during the course of a cross-border investigation involving the SEC, DOJ, and foreign authorities.

Sara holds a J.D. from Georgetown Law and a Master’s in International Economic Law: Global Governance Studies from Sciences Po Paris. She served as the Online Editor for Georgetown’s Journal of International Law. Sara is a member of the Task Force on the Independence of Lawyers and Judges at the New York City Bar Association.

Sara spent five years as an associate at Baker Botts LLP in their New York office. Before joining Baker Botts, she worked as an intern at the US Department of Justice, Criminal Division, Office of International Affairs and as an intern at the US Commodity Futures Trading Commission, where she researched early regulatory approaches to cryptocurrency. Prior to law school, Sara received a Fulbright ETA Grant and worked in Tula, Russia, as an English Teaching Assistant Fellow.
