We are thrilled to announce that Laura Longobardi has joined EKL&J as counsel.

Laura can do it all for our clients. She has experience in every aspect of litigation: antitrust, appellate, arbitration, aviation, bankruptcy, class action defense, commercial, contracts, corporate control, criminal, discovery, guarantees, insurance, labor and employment, mediation, real estate, securities defense, trusts and estates, and troubled assets.

Her agility across subject matters isn’t surprising. Early in her career, Laura served as a law clerk for The Honorable Reena Raggi, who was a U.S. District Judge for the Eastern District of New York.

“I had an unexpected opportunity to join the highly talented individuals at EKL&J and help them build their new firm, and I have been delighted to do so,” Laura says. “I’m looking forward to engaging in a complex commercial litigation practice, which has always been my first love. I’m also excited at the prospect of expanding the scope of my knowledge to the areas of regulatory work and white-collar defense, and I know that my background in litigation will be of good use there. I’m confident that my future, and that of my colleagues here at EKL&J, is bright.
