Lynn A. Neils has joined the firm as a name partner, expanding our nationally recognized white-collar defense and government investigations, and dispute resolution practices. The firm will now be known as Elliott Kwok Levine Jaroslaw Neils LLP, or EKLJN.
The move reunites Neils with Mark Elliott, Ilene Jaroslaw, and Matt Levine, all of whom worked as associates at Paul, Weiss early in their legal careers.
Neils, a former Assistant United States Attorney for the Southern District of New York and the District of New Jersey, was most recently co-chair of the white-collar crime and government investigations practice at a national law firm. She is a highly accomplished trial and appellate lawyer who regularly represents corporations and C-level executives in criminal prosecutions, regulatory investigations, and other high-stakes business disputes. She frequently advises corporations and boards on compliance protocols and conducts internal investigations to mitigate the risk and impact of enforcement actions and regulatory investigations. “In two years, we have built EKLJN into one of the most vibrant and client-centric legal teams in the country handling white-collar defense and government investigations,” said Ilene Jaroslaw, co-founder of the firm. “I am delighted that Lynn is joining us and look forward to working with her across a broad range of matters as we continue growing our practice.”
